WHY SPORTS MASSAGE

Massage therapy has been shown to increase tissue circulation, warm the tissue, and improve slide and glide of tissues.  Additionally, massage therapy helps to reduce pain and assists with mental health.  Our body is an integrated system, where if you have pain in a local area (i.e. your knee), we need to address the kinetic chain (i.e. pelvis, hip, knee, and foot/ankle) to improve function.  Massage therapy is a key tool to help improve systemic function.  Soft tissue work in combination with physical therapy can improve optimals in less time.  Schedule today.

  • With my background in PT at a locally owned clinic in my hometown of Klamath Falls coupled with being a naturally touch oriented person I bring a unique approach to massage/bodywork. My work is typically referred to as "productive" or “effective”. I use deep passes at a methodical pace that allows for maximum relief while being mindful of the patient's CNS. Coaching on breath, and incorporating a variety of relaxation elements allows for a combination of productivity and relaxation. My typical pressure is medium to deep unless otherwise requested (which I am ALWAYS open to!). Connecting with all kinds of people & giving my brain a good challenge to help restore physical form is a deep seeded passion. Working towards functional goals with my patients and further educating/empowering in the process is a core part of my practice and I look forward to learning alongside you in each session. A truly productive massage requires trust, empowerment, equal participation, and understanding. The opportunity to build this with each patient is one of my favorite aspects of this career. When not in session you can find me with my two daughters, Jesse, or some of my many beloved friends and family. I love to keep myself very busy with working out, dancing, reading, crafting, cooking, running, adventuring, church and literally anything I can squeeze some time in for.
